The company was established in 1990 specialising in recycled paper. Over the course of the last ten
years the company has grown considerably and recently purchased the Northern Ireland operations of
Cleanaway. The company now employs over 80 people and has a fleet of 30 specialised collection
vehicles including Trade Waste, Rear End Loaders, Skip, Roll on Off, Liquid Waste Tankers and
dedicated Chemical Collection vehicles.
The company now operates two sites:
Limestone Road - Which has a licensed Waste Transfer Station. The transfer station allows
some recyclable material to be recovered before the remainder is bulked up and compacted for disposal.
It also operates a baling and grading system to facilitate the processing of paper, cardboard
and plastic for recycling.
Duncrue Street - Where operations are carried out from a licensed Waste Management Centre.
This centre provides a secure storage facility for special waste streams to allow bulk loads
to be sent for reprocessing and disposal in Northern Ireland, or the UK Mainland.
Wilson Waste is continuously developing its waste handling, reprocessing, treatment and
disposal process in order to improve efficiencies in waste management. It is our philosophy
to work in partnership with our customers to monitor, manage and improve the handling and
disposal methods in place, in particular to minimise the quantity of waste landfill.
